Olor Del Cibao Double ShadeHow about a unique Cigar? These cigars are truly unique. From the cedar-wood box, to the long-filler dominican blend, and back to the double shade wrapper these cigars are truly one-of-a-kind. The Olor Del Cibao Double Shade cigars are 100% handmade in the Dominican Republic from Dominican tobaccos. The filler is long-leaf and the cigar is wrapped with a Connecticut and Sumatra wrapper. These cigars are absolutely beautiful and the quality is great, but we expect this from Olor Del Cibao. The Tex Cigar Review: The first 5 minutes of this cigar can best be described as light and crisp - a clean flavor. It's like the light, earthy flavor is there just for a second, then it's gone. But don't give up on this one! The flavors in this cigar constantly change. We noticed that with every puff it seemed to change a little. Toward the middle of the cigar, the earthy, nutty flavors started to become very apparent. I would describe them as almost pecan-flavored. Then, just when you think you have the cigar nailed, it throws a curve ball. In our opinion, the multicolored wrapper is a great representation of the flavors you will encounter. We detected three distinct flavor changes in this cigar: the start was light and earthy, the middle was lightly nutty with a note of apple, and the end was a complex mix of all three flavors - including another we couldn't quite get a bead on. Our advice? Don't put this one down because you might miss something! It is a rather long smoke, but the flavors keep changing and it definitely piques your interest every time you pull. We found the cigar to burn evenly and the pull to be on the lighter side of medium. If we had to complain, the ash wasn't as beautiful as some that we've seen, but all the other positives make up for this easily.
