Overture Series 1996 Cigars Produced in Miami's Little Habana the PIO Overture 1996 blend is complex and striking in its richness of flavor. The cigar starts out on the milder side and develops into something more toward full bodied. The PIO Overture 1996 is constructed from a killer blend. The Brazilian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan fillers are wrapped in an Ecuadorian binder and the 12 year old Ecuadorian wrapper finishes off the superb construction of this cigar. The Overture 1996 starts off with some black pepper with citrus tang that then develops into a sweet smokey flavor almost like the best Speyside Scotch, the floral and chocolate notes are surprising and very pleasant. This line of the PIO products are a diamond in the rough that we here at TexCigars particularly enjoy. The PIO Overture 1996 comes in five sizes: No. 1 is a churchill, No. 2 is a torpedo, No. 3 is a robusto, No. 4 is a corona and No. 52 is a toro.
