Released in February 2009, Pete Johnson created the Ambos Mundos blend to appeal to the masses hurt by the current economic woe. Using B and C grade tobaccos from the same plants as the regular Tatuaje lines, they are a great option for those looking to save money or who want Tatuaje flavor but do not mind letting their cigars age a little first.

Under the guidance of Jose Pepin Garcia, the Tatuaje Cabinet series of cigars is made from first generation Cuban-seed tobacco and grown in the best soils of the Nicaraguan tobacco plantations.

The Cabaiguan line is crafted from an Ecuadorian Connecticut seed shade-grown wrapper surrounding all-Nicaraguan binder and filler. This construction leads to a medium-bodied but complex smoke with a creamy earth flavor. The Imperiales were rated an 89 by Cigar Insider.
