Avo’s Maduro line utilizes the same Dominican binder and filler, mostly from the Cibao valley, as the Classic line — the only difference being the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. However, the Maduro wrapper changes the blend’s profile significantly, adding not only a little strength but also a dose of sweetness.

The Avo maduro smokes very much like the Classic line — it’s an easy smoking cigar with a very clean flavor profile, well constructed with an easy draw and a perfectly even burn, giving off an aroma that is both rich and chocolaty. The smoke is mild to medium in body and extremely smooth with almost no finish. Reviews by Cigar Aficionado consistently give AVO Maduros ratings of between 88 - 90. It is available in six sizes.
