Originally made in Havana, Cuba Aliados are now handrolled in Danli, Honduras under the expert eye of master cigar maker Rolando Reyes, these medium to full bodied cigars are crafted using a well-balanced blend of Dominican long-fillers and Nicaraguan binder. When it comes to the wrapper you have the choice between a Maduro or a nice oily Nicaraguan Corojo natural. However, these tobaccos are not your ordinary locally grown Honduran Cuban-seed tobaccos, however good their reputation may be. Senor Reyes prefers to use an Ecuadoran grown Sumatra-seed binder and wrapper, and a Dominican grown Cuban-seed filler in his cigars, all of which are processed and aged using their own, closely guarded secret formulas. Available in a range of shapes and sizes these cigars receive consistently high ratings from Cigar Aficionado.
