Cusano
Cusano, based in the Dominican Republic, has become one of today’s fastest growing boutique cigar makers. They have five very distinctive blends which consistently attract very high ratings in reviews.
Cusano 10th Anniversary cigars were created to celebrate Cusano's tenth year and are the first to use a combination of four distinct wrappers, one as a binder and two included in the filler. Available in Crown Corona and robusto sizes, Cigar Aficionado gave these cigars a rating of 89 and Smoke Magazine gave it a 9/10!
Named for Cusano co-owner Joe Chiusano's birth-year, Cusano 59 Rare Cameroon line was one of their first cigars. The two wrappers are Cameroon and Dominican and the filler is Dominican, and the line is available in 4 sizes.
Named for the year of Cusano co-owner Mike Chiusano's birth (LXI denotes "61" in Roman Numerals), the Habano LXI is very similar to Cusano's Corojo 1997 line but somewhat more refined. Like the other Cusano lines, the Habano LXI has two wrappers, one is an Ecuador grown Habano seed and the other is a Dominican sun grown, and is available in four sizes.
What makes the Cusano 18 line totally unique is the use of a double - shade Connecticut wrapper and a connecticut binder and the use a rare 1985 Dominican Oro/Seco wrapper leaf filler. Available in four sizes.
Cusano Corojo ’97 cigars are a rich, powerhouse blend that uses a vintage Cuban-Corojo wrapper and strong Dominican fillers and binders. Available in five sizes these cigars are not for the rookie. Cigar Insider awarded the Cusano Corojo ’97 an outstanding 91/100 rating!
