From the people that brought you Diamond Crown, the new El Baton is a great value cigar. All of the tobacco is from Nicaragua which is a first for J.C. Newman. Well made, this cigar is somewhat splotchy but the flavor is good thanks to the Corojo wrapper. The El Baton cigars are spicy, reminiscent of leather, and a mocha nuttiness make it all quite complex. One of the best value of cigars released in 2008, the El Baton is available in Robusto, Double Toro, and Double Torpedo.
