Named after the British regiment of soldiers from Burma, Gurkha cigars have been dubbed "The Rolls Royce of Cigars” because of the sheer amount of time and energy that they put into the production of their cigars. Their five-year old Connecticut Shade wrappers are further fermented an additional seven months and infused with cognac to further enhance the taste. The Cuban Piloto seed filler and the binder give them a rich, creamy flavor with just a hint of spice. Producers K. Hansotia & Co. are leaders in the Dominican Republic cigar industry and have said many times it is their personal goal to produce the finest vintage cigars in the world. Their most expensive cigars, His Majesty Reserve, sell for $15,000 for a box of 20! That gives you some idea of the class of these Cuban-esque cigars.

Ancient Warrior - a handcrafted cigar, medium to full in body and made with a perfectly-balanced blend of robust Dominican and Honduran long-filler tobaccos, Nicaraguan binder, and a zesty Brazilian wrapper leaf.

Gurkha Black Dragons have a mixture of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Peruvian tobaccos with a delicious 5 year old Cameroon wrapper.

Gurkha Estate Select Vinatge Reserve uses a Dominican Puro with an eight year old Dominican wrapper which adds a little more spice to the flavor. Though it may be 'unbranded' in that it comes with no band and simple boxing, don't let that deter you. These really are very classy cigars!.

Gurkha Grand Reserve cigars come in 30 packs of cigars in glass tubes. These are obviously very premium cigars made with Remy Martin ($1,200 a bottle) Louis XIII cognac.

Gurkha Masters Select are handcrafted from a blend of Honduran, Dominican and Nicaraguan Ligero fillers and a Dominican binder, all wrapped with an aged Havana 2000 leaf.

Gurkha Vintage Shaggy is based on a blend of high quality, five year old Dominican filler and binder, wrapped in a Dominican wrapper that has been aged for eight years.

Gurkha Avenger G5 cigars were brought to the public in 2007 and are full-bodied Nicaraguan puros.

Gurkha Dragonfire Cigars are a box pressed shaggy cigar handcrafted from a Cameroon binder and with a Nicaraguan Wrapper.

Gurkha G3's blend consists of a triple ligero with a Nicaraguan wrapper and filler giving this cigar some strength.

Gurkha Legend is handcrafted using a 7 year old Connecticut Broad Leaf Wrapper aged and fermented to the highest peak of maturity. A medium to full bodied cigar with only 800 boxes produced a year.

Gurkha Royal Reserve cigars are a limited edition range with only 500 boxes being produced each year. The blend of Dominican binders and fillers is surrounded with a five year aged Connecticut Maduro wrapper.

The Gurkha Status cigar is a special edition cigar that Gurkha released in late 2007. These cigars have a light tan colored Connecticut Shade wrapper.
