The Tempus Centuria got a very high rating from Cigar Aficionado in 2008 - a 94! This line of cigars is hand-made with a wrapper that is Honduran Criollo 1998 and filler tobacco of Corojo and Criollo. The tobacco comes from the Trojes region of Honduras. The word Tempus stands for time in latin. The entire line of Tempus cigars has an interesting combination of bands known as the double band that is compromised of a standard band at the head and another band on the foot of the cigar. It is said that the Tempus Cigar line took seven years to make and is interestingly built around the dark wrapper because it is what the cigar is defined by.
The Tempus Centuria is a Churchill sized cigar that is best described as smooth, rich, & balanced. It has hints of sweetness with a rather creamy finish.
