La Escepcion cigars were created by master cigar maker, Estelo Padron. Hoyo de Monterrey cigars are still made the way they used to be made in the 1800s, cured and aged for that 'authentic Honduran' flavor that cigar connoisseurs yearn for. This is a medium to full bodied flavor derived from a high-quality blend of fully-aged long-fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. They are wrapped in oily, natural, Ecuadorian Sumatra or USA/Connecticut Broadleaf (Maduro & Oscuro) wrappers that only serve to enhance that rich aroma and flavor.
The line was once Cuban and claims to feature the first Ometepe binder. If you're looking for a rich and bold smoke that will intrigue, give the La Escepcion cigars a shot!
