Macanudo Gold Label
Macanudo releases the Gold Label line once a year. This line is even milder than the regular Cafe series. The wrapper is called Capa Especial and is a particularly fine golden Connecticut shade wrapper. The Macanudo Gold Label is also constructed from Mexican San Andres binder, and a blend of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Mexican fillers. This extremely mild cigar is woody, smooth, surprisingly sweet, and gains a slight hint of pepper toward the end. The Macanudo Gold Label is available in six shapes: Crystal Tube, Duke of York, Lord Nelson, Shakespeare, Somerset, and Tudor.
