The Macanudo Vintage 2000 is the creme de la creme of Macanudos. Daniel Nuñez of General Cigar chooses only the best tobacco for this line. A Connecticut shade wrapper harvested in 2000 encompasses a blend of Mexican San Andres binder as well as filler, along with Dominican Piloto Cubano filler. The Macanudo Vintage 2000 is a very fine and delicately flavored cigar. Hints of lemongrass combine well with a mild cedar core flavor that is also accented by a toast flavor. Not to be paired with much beyond water, the delicacy of flavor this cigar possesses is easily over powered. The Macanudo Vintage 2000 line is available in four shapes, the I which is a churchill, the II which is a lonsdale. (The VIII robusto, and the X toro are currently out of stock).
