Oliva has been in the cigar tobacco industry for quite some time and they have heard time and again that milder smokers would appreciated a cigar from Oliva. Now they have it with the Oliva Connecticut Reserve. This blend is finished with an Ecuadorian Connecticut seed wrapper that is quite fine, not as veiny as many Connecticut wrappers on the market. The filler and binder of the Oliva Connecticut Reserve are both from Nicaragua and provide much of the flavor of this mild to medium smoke. Milder smokers that appreciate cigars from Ashton, Arturo Fuente, and Diamond Crown should give this line a try, it is a great introduction to the Nicaraguan flavor without all the strength. The Oliva Connecticut Reserve is available in Churchill, Lonsdale, Robusto, Toro, and Torpedo sizes.
