Padron 1926 Anniversary Series

The Padron 1926 Serie was created to celebrate the 75th birthday of Jose O. Padron. Like the Anniversary 1964, the 1926 Serie is an excellent line that consistently rates very well. Blended with all Nicaraguan tobacco this line is made with tobacco that is five years old. The construction is therefore one year older than the Anniversary 1964 and even smoother. Many hobbyists only pick these up for special occasions. The classic Nicaraguan earthy character is present as well as a good spice and a medium-full body. In the maduro wrapper the Padron 1926 Serie is slightly sweeter and the natural Habano wrapper has a more toasty finish. The Padron 1926 Serie consists of the following non-traditional shapes, the No. 1 is close to a churchill, the No. 2 is a belicoso, the No. 35 is a corona gorda, the No. 6 is a robusto, and the No. 9 is a robusto extra.
