Before Rocky Patel released his Decade line of cigars the Olde World Reserve were the ultimate creation from Nestor Plascencia's El Paraiso factory in Danli, Honduras. The filler is rumored to contain some Indian tobacco but it has been confirmed that the filler is from Nicaragua as is the binder, with a choice of Costa Rican maduro and a Nicaraguan corojo wrappers.

Debuting at the 2008 IPCPR in Las Vegas, the Rocky Patel Renaissance is almost a revival of the Edge Sumatra. An Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper finishes off the Honduran and Nicaraguan construction to complete this well balanced, medium-bodied cigar.

The Rocky Patel Sun Grown is a medium-full bodied cigar with mocha notes and a nutty core flavor that is close to a Cuban blend in terms of taste. The wrapper is an Ecuadorian Sumatra sun grown, the binder is Nicaraguan and the filler is a blend of Brazilian, Dominican, and Nicaraguan tobaccos.
