The true Connecticut shade wrapper is very fine and has few veins. The binder is Nicaraguan and the filler is a blend of Dominican and Nicaraguan leaves. All the tobaccos are 7 years old. The Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Toro is a great morning cigar with flavors of nuts, slight pepper spice, a mild wood flavor and a creamy finish.
