Made at Rocky's factory in Honduras, the Rocky Patel Edge was created following the success of his Vintage line. Designed to provide a spicy tasting, full-bodied cigar for the smoker who prefers the smaller sized cigar, it is blended from a perfect balance of mainly Nicaraguan all-Ligero tobaccos and rolled into a choice of tasty Maduro or Corojo wrappers. These cigars have been promoted as potent full-bodied cigars that are "not for beginners". Some of the larger cabinets (100) even have a prominent label warning “Professional Smokers Only. Smoke While Sitting Down.” However, if you read some of the reviews they seem to agree that while certainly tasty, they are by no means overpowering. There is also a Rocky Patel The Edge Lite version which has a Natural Equadorian Connecticut wrapper and a blend of aged Nicaraguan and Honduran tobaccos. The 'Lite' version is promoted as having the same great flavors as the other Edge varieties, but in a milder medium-strength cigar. With their distinctive band around the foot, the Edge is available in Toro, Torpedo, and Missile (Torpedo) sizes.
