Cuesta Rey Centenario Cameo cigarillos are made by Angel LaMadrid Cuesta. After first apprenticing as a cigar maker for a couple of years, he opened his first cigar factory in Tampa, Florida. The Cuesta Rey cigar company was one of the largest in the United States for quite some time. Though he has passed on, the legacy of Angel Cuesta lives on as he is revered as one of the best to have graced the industry.

The Dominican produced cigars are available in a couple of different lines, including Sun Grown, the Centenario Collection, and the Cabinet Selection. Cuesta's Sun Grown line is wrapped in an Ecuadorian Centro Fino wrapper and grown in the sunlight all the time. The Centenario Collection utilizes a Connecticut wrapper which is aged for at least 120 days in the humidor. The Cabinet Selection features a Cameroon wrapper, the first to do so from the Cuesta Rey brand.
