Cusano Habano Sun Grown LXI
The Cusano Habano LXI line, named after co-owner Mike Chiusano's birth year (LXI denotes "61" in Roman Numerals), maintains a classic flavor profile. For those that enjoyed Cusano's Corojo 1997 line, the Habano LXI is very similar but somewhat more refined. Like the other Cusano lines, the Habano LXI has two wrappers, one is an Ecuador grown Habano seed and the other is a Dominican sun grown. Plenty of Dominican ligero graces the filler providing rich flavor. The black coffee flavor, vineyard finish, and some small amount of pepper graces the palate. The Cusano Habano LXI is available in four shapes: Churchill, Preferido, Robusto and Toro Gordo.
