Epernay
This new line, released in April 2009, is based on the Illusione eccj cigars. All of the tobacco in the Epernay blend is Nicaraguan Criollo or Corojo '99 tobacco. The rosado shade wrapper is a slightly reddish Corojo leaf and the blend overall is lighter than the regular Illusione line. The Epernay cigars are very complex and have a medium bodied profile. There is a floral and fruity sweetness that is accented by a light smattering of black pepper throughout the smoke and as the smoke progresses it becomes slightly stronger while notes of wood and nuts become apparent.
