Because Illusione's ECCJ line did so well in both Europe and USA, Illusione has released the Epernay line of cigars featuring the Epernay Le Matin. This double corona is 6 3/4 x 46 and features a rosado / corojo wrapper. Most of the Epernay line is best described as being complex, but lighter than the original Illusione line of cigars. The Epernay Le Matin has a caramel sweetness that is highlighted by fruit and floral notes. As the smoke progresses it builds up to a fuller body and wood and nuts join the flavor party. This elegant cigar is reminiscent of Cuban blends and some say even has the "twang" one finds in cigars from the island south of Miami.
This cigar was rated in the top 10 in Cigar Aficionado's top 25 cigars of the year (2010) and has been a consistently awesome cigar. We highly recommend it!
