Named after the British regiment of soldiers from Burma, Gurkha cigars have been dubbed "The Rolls Royce of Cigars” because of the sheer amount of time and energy that they put into the production of their cigars. Their five-year old Connecticut Shade wrappers are further fermented an additional seven months and infused with cognac to further enhance the taste. The Cuban Piloto seed filler and the binder give them a rich, creamy flavor with just a hint of spice. Producers K. Hansotia & Co. are leaders in the Dominican Republic cigar industry and have said many times it is their personal goal to produce the finest vintage cigars in the world.
