Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 is a line which was put out in 2002 to celebtate the relaunch of the brand following the hiatus in production due to the civil unrest in the country. The Antano (Spanish for 'yesteryear'), seeks to recapture Joya’s famous blends from the 70’s with a potent, full bodied blend of Nicaraguan Ligero filler tobacco in a Criollo wrapper. The robust puro was awarded an impressive 91 by Cigar Insider. The Antano 1970 line is available in five different sizes: Belicoso, Churchill, Consul (Robusto), Gran Consul (Belicoso), and Machito (Corona).
