The Punch brand originated in Cuba in 1840 and was named after that cantankerous British character 'Mr Punch' who was made world famous by the satirical magazine of the same name. Since 1969 the Punch brand is now produced under the guidance of cigar master Frank Llaneza for the Villazon Company in Honduras.

Punch lives up to its name with a bold, full-bodied taste that appeals to men who follow their own instincts as opposed to following the crowd. Introduced in 1990, Punch Deluxe are also a full-bodied cigar made from a rich blend of Honduran tobaccos and wrapped in Sumatra-seed wrapper from Equador or a dark Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper.

Punch Grand Cru was released in 1994 and is a mild to medium bodied cigar, often seen as the 'pride of the Punch line' and also "the silkiest of Honduran cigars". The smoothness of this line is due to its unique blend of ultra-high quality Honduran tobaccos and their elegant Connecticut Shade wrappers. There is also a Maduro version which uses a dark Connecticut Broadleaf.

The Punch Rare Corojo are presented in a distinctive red box and are crafted from a blend of Honduran, Nicaraguan and Dominican tobaccos and wrapped in a rich and dark Sumatra Equadorian wrapper.

Punch Gran Puro, as its name suggests, is a Honduran puro wrapped in an extra-dark Havana-seed wrapper which has been developed exclusively for the Punch Gran Puro and grown in the rich soils of the San Augustin Valley of Honduras. All the tobaccos used are carefully selected and all are sun-grown varieties, ensuring the special color and flavor that this line is famous for - a line that has been called the "puro of puros".
