A talent for blending and creating fine cigars seems to run the Patel family. Thunder, a new creation by Rock Patel's cousin Nimish, has already begun to catch the attention of cigar aficionados. Powerful and spicy, these smokes start with a beautiful oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, two binders from Honduras and Nicaragua, all encasing a filler blend of Costa Rican, Honduran, and Nicaraguan leaves. These earthy tobaccos impart notes of dark cocoa, espresso, and a slight caramel sweetness, while the Habano wrapper pulls it all together with an overtone of pepper that carries throughout the cigar in varying degrees. Thunder by Nimish lives up to its name, providing a complex and heady blast of flavor yet still remaining balanced enough to be an "anytime" smoke.
