Created to celebrate Carlos Toraño and his efforts in the cigar industry the Tribute 2008 is an exquisite cigar. A blend of five year old tobaccos makes up the construction of this line. The wrapper is a Brazilian Mata Fina leaf, the binder is Nicaraguan from the Pueblo Nuevo farm, and the filler is a mixture of Nicaraguan leaves from Esteli and Jalapa. The Carlos Toraño Tribute 2008 line is full bodied with a complex mixture of flavors. Cocoa, coffee, nuts and hints of berries are the initial flavors presented and as these cigars smoke down, a leather core flavor slowly builds and becomes dominant toward the end. The Carlos Toraño Tribute 2008 is available in three shapes, Churchill, Robusto, and Torpedo.
