With this year’s IPCPR show only week’s away news on upcoming cigar releases has been coming in one after another! We’re excited to see what this year’s show will bring and what new and exciting smokes will be available.
Casa Fernandez announced that they plan on releasing the 35th Anniversary and Reserva Maduro at the show. The 35th Anniversary is a box-pressed blend where each box will be signed by company owner Eduardo Fernandez. The Casa Fernandez Reserva Maduro features a Mexican San Andres wrapper over Aganorsa grown Nicaraguan fillers and will be available in 3 sizes.
Boutique Blends will debut the Swag S Maduro this year which is intended for younger, modern smokers who are tired of traditional brands. Swag S is made of Dominican premium tobaccos with an oily Nicaraguan maduro wrapper and will be available in 5 unique sizes.
The East India trading company announced their highly anticipated Prize Fighter line that will be available at this summer’s IPCPR trade show in Las Vegas. Named after historic boxers from the 1900’s, Prize Fighter is a mild to medium bodied cigar with smooth flavors. The cigars will be highly affordable while still maintaining high quality and premium taste the East India trading company is known for.
Griffin’s will launch their 2013 Casino Special Edition line at this year’s show that will fit in perfectly in Las Vegas. While the cigars on the inside are something to look forward too we’re more excited about the packaging. The innovative design used for the Casino Special Edition line resembles a blackjack casino table that actually folds into a mini, usable blackjack table. Included are blackjack cards, chips and dice on the inside. The cigars themselves use filler tobacco from the Dominican Republic and offer notes of white pepper and dark chocolate.
We’re excited to get our hands on some of these cigars and look forward to hearing about all of the upcoming new releases!
