The Tempus Novo Terra's brother, The Centuria (Churchill) got a very high rating from Cigar Aficionado in 2008 - a 93! This entire line of cigars is hand-made with a wrapper that is Honduran Criollo 1998 and filler tobacco of Corojo and Criollo. The tobacco comes from the Trojes region of Honduras. The work Tempus stands for "time” in latin. The entire line of Tempus cigars has an interesting combination of bands known as the "double band" that is compromised of a standard band at the head and another band on the foot of the cigar. It is said that the Tempus Cigar line took seven years to make and is interestingly built around the dark wrapper because it is what the cigar is defined by.
The Tempus Novo Terra is a Robusto sized cigar that is best described as smooth, rich, & balanced. It has hints of sweetness with a rather creamy finish. |
