Don Pepin Garcia is one of the finest cigar makers to date and is a living legend of cigars. He created the 601 Red Habano line of cigars and these cigars have been getting good reviews and credit to his name since they were released. These cigars are a Puro of Nicaragua with a beautiful habano wrapper. Because Pepin is such a great blender, these cigars put out wonderful flavors and a nice aroma. There are earthy and molasses flavors throughout the entire smoke and there are also notes of nutmeg and rum. Occasionall the habano wrapper brings a spicey flavor to make the cigars more complex. The Habano Red Robusto got a 90 rating in Cigar Aficionado (a great rating!). If you're looking for a great cigar by Don Pepin - look no farther. This is it!
