The first time I tried this cigar I got one from my son who lives in a Chicago suburb. He said his local cigar dealer recommended this cigar for me, described as an older man who enjoys full-bodied larger cigars, such as a Churchill. He also said that he had a hard time keeping these cigars in stock because as soon as his regulars knew he had them, they were gone.
The dealer was right, this was an excellent cigar...one of the best I've had.
I checked with my local cigar store and drew a blank. Then I visited about four other stores and had the same experience. The strange thing is this was a Cigar Aficionado cigar-of-the-year a few years back yet no one recognized the name. Okay, I live in the Cleveland area...if Walmart doesn't stock it, we don't try it!
On visiting the Internet Texcigars was the winner -- they had the cigars in stock and at a reasonable price. Most other dealers were "out-of-stock" or much priceier.
If you like a full-flavored, rich cigar, give Casa Magna a try. Right now it's the #1 cigar for me. I do have a few Cubans sitting in my humidor but I sure can't afford them on a regular basis.
Thanks.
