The five star rating is for Texcigar. This is the first time I’ve purchased cigars from them. I must say that I’m very impressed. Great customer service, I received a follow-up call making sure all was well with my purchase, prompt delivery and most importantly, the conditions of the cigars were excellent. I decided to try Texcigars because I was tired of receiving cigars that had problems. I.e. cigars that had a hard draw with little smoke or that required constant re-lighting. I didn’t have that problem with my first order from Texcigars. In fact, I smoked one of the cigars the day my order arrived, (I couldn’t wait to try the Oliva). The draw and burn were perfect. As long as I receive this kind of quality, I’ll be buying from Texcigars.
As for the Oliva Connecticut Reserve Torpedo, I’ve smoked three of them so far. And at this point, I would rate it a 4 out of 5. Quality, construction, burn and draw were good but the cigar left me a little dissatisfied. Reminds me a little of a cigarette, as far as taste and aroma. X-cigarette smokers will probably love it. I would recommend to keep a couple in your humidor
